LESSON POLICIES
Payment Policy
Monthly payments are due at the first lesson of each month via cash, check (made out to “Ashley L’Esperance” or “Eric L’Esperance”) or Venmo (@ashandericmusic).
Invoices will be given at the end of each month to indicate the number of lessons and total payment due for the following month.
Late payments will incur a $10 fee per week.
For new lessons, a deposit will be made to secure lesson time.
Lesson & Practice Policy
Students will arrive on time for lessons & be fully prepared to work at the start-time. If a student is late, that time will not be made up by the teacher.
Students have the responsibility to practice outside of lessons, as suggested by their teacher. Students should understand that progress depends on their practice & should follow their teachers’ instructions if they intend to improve at their instrument.
Students should also understand that the progress they make may sometimes be slower than they expect. Learning music a life-long process and each student should have patience with their own progress.
If a student needs to change the time of their lesson, they will notify their teacher with at least 4 weeks notice. Students should understand that lessons may not be able to be rescheduled, due to the volume of students at our studio, but we will do our best to accommodate scheduling needs.
If a student should decide to stop lessons altogether, they will notify their teacher with at least 4 weeks notice. If a student decides to stop taking lessons altogether & does not provide 4 weeks notice, payments for cancelled lessons will not be refunded.
